Private Surf Lesson Middleton

Private surf lessons are a great way to focus on your individual surfing goals with a personalised lesson tailored to your ability, experience and progression. 

Private lessons can be booked for one, two or three people, making them a great option whether you’re looking for one-on-one coaching or want to share the experience with friends or family. 

Our private surf lessons are 2 hours long and include all the equipment you’ll need, including a safe soft surfboard, full-length 3/2mm wetsuit, rash top and sunscreen.

If you prefer to use your own equipment during the private lesson, you’re more than welcome to bring it along. Your instructor will assess your board on the day and let you know whether it’s suitable for use during the lesson.

Lessons are held at the end of Chapman Road, Middleton in the first carpark.  You can also check in at our surf shop - Surf & Sun at 44 Goolwa Rd, Middleton SA 5213.  We are right next to the Middleton bakery. In winter from May to October please meet straight at the beach as the shop is not always open. 

Surf & Sun are a licensed surf school with Surfing Australia and have won numerous tourism awards for Best Adventure Tourism South Australia.

All instructors hold level 1 surf coach certificate plus surf rescue, working with children certificate and first aid.
