Private Surf Lesson Moana

Private surf lessons are a great way to focus on your individual surfing goals with a personalised lesson tailored to your ability, experience and progression. 

Private lessons can be booked for one, two or three people, making them a great option whether you’re looking for one-on-one coaching or want to share the experience with friends or family. 

Our private surf lessons are 2 hours long and include all the equipment you’ll need, including a safe soft surfboard, full-length 3/2mm wetsuit, rash top and sunscreen.

If you prefer to use your own equipment during the private lesson, you’re more than welcome to bring it along. Your instructor will assess your board on the day and let you know whether it’s suitable for use during the lesson.

Lessons are held at Moana beach next to the surf life saving club on the esplanade. Moana beach has awesome waves, however sometimes it can be completely flat. If this is the case we will contact you to transfer your lesson to Middleton beach instead. Middleton is approximately 35 minutes from Moana.

Surf & Sun are a licensed surf school with Surfing Australia and have won numerous tourism awards including 2013 Best Adventure Tourism South Australia and a silver in 2014.

All instructors hold level 1 surf coach certificate plus surf rescue, working with children certificate and first aid.
